Is Gymsense built on Stripe?
Yes. Every gym gets its own Stripe Connected Account. Subscriptions, one-off payments, invoicing, refunds, and payouts all flow through Stripe. PCI compliance, fraud detection, and payment method storage are handled by Stripe.
What happens when a payment fails?
Failed payments trigger past-due status on the customer's account. Gymsense flags the account in the Pro app and you can send a payment reminder via SMS with a direct link to pay.
Can I process refunds from Gymsense?
Yes. Full and partial refunds can be processed directly from the transaction detail screen in the Pro app. Platform fees are refunded proportionally.
What payment processing fees does Stripe charge?
Stripe's standard processing fee applies (typically 2.9% + 30 cents per transaction for US cards). This is separate from the Gymsense platform fee of 1% of payment volume. You can see both fees itemized on every transaction.
